Hello, from quarantine šŸ‘‹

Updated: May 12, 2021

Oh hiĀ šŸ‘‹ . How are you holding up? What a crazy world we are in right now, no? The scare of coronavirus andĀ the anxiety of the economy have been keeping me up at night, and stressed all day. Yes, I know, I'm a yoga teacher, this is what we have been practicing meditation forĀ and what I have been trying to teach you in my classes but it is also importantĀ to admit when you're scared, when you're feeling overwhelmed, and to not mask how you feel. That's okay. I'm trying my best to not let my mind spiral, to stay present, and surrender to the uncertainty that is unfolding.Ā  This is such a great reminder of not taking what we have for granted - like beingĀ able to sit and read at a cafe, havingĀ the means to afford a fancy latte, casually being able to sitĀ in a giant pineapple fountain in the warm southern sunshine, the people you see everyday at work. Being able to go to work. So in these difficult times, what are you grateful for right now? I am very grateful for the warm weather yesterday and the sun shining today. I am grateful to talk to two of my best friends every single day. I am also so, so grateful for everyone that has already emailed and DM'd me showing me how much you care. You have no idea how much it means to me and it actually makes me cry. And, if you need just a little extra boost, take a few minutes and read this article about how disasters and crises bring out the best in people. AndrĆ  tutto bene. Everything will be alright.

Another little gem I have found out of this situation is being forced to face one of my fears: teaching online. I created a (very awkward, sorry)Ā video you can do anytime you want for free on YouTube and I am now doing live classes with Zoom! I will have more classes available and I am sure there is a more efficient way to sign up but this is how your yoga teacher is getting a crash course in all things internet šŸ‘©ā€šŸ’».Ā

Perhaps I'll have some free time (šŸ˜…) to figure out a better way to sign up for classes but for now, click the link below for the schedule, email me with the day/time you want to join, and around 5 minutes prior you'll get another email with the link and a code to join class! Be sure to download Zoom app so you are all set up when class begins. I am offering these for free because I know times are tough and we can all benefit from yoga and meditation right now, but if you have the means, independent contractors and gigĀ job workersĀ like me are beyond grateful for any donations you have to offer.Ā

I am also holding my regularly scheduled Sunday classes with Bluebird Sky! Same platform (Zoom) but here you can sign up for class with MindBody and support the studioĀ as well, which, in turn, supports a lot more wonderful teachers. Don't be afraid to reach out if you have questions!Ā

Find a list of live classes HERE!
